St Michael’s is a small Victorian Guest House in Scarborough’s North Bay, run by Annie and Alex. It aims to be ‘Home from Home’.
St Michael’s is the ideal place to stay, whatever the season or occasion, whether travelling for business or pleasure, and is open all year round; Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre is only a 10 minute walk away.
Annie and Alex pride themselves on giving traditional service, by going the extra mile, to ensure that everyone’s stay is enjoyable and relaxing. They provide a friendly welcome, clean and comfortable guest bedrooms, and a good quality traditional breakfast priced at only £12.50 per person which is made from locally sourced ingredients.
There are six cosy en-suite bedrooms which are situated on the first and second floors, accessible by a stairlift.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am. It comprises of a traditional English breakfast and some lighter options with plenty of choice for everyone.

What a fabulous b & b!! The hosts, Annie and Alex are so welcoming and helpful, and their establishment is beautifully kept and in immaculate condition. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed a cooked breakfast each morning which could not have been bettered. Our bedroom was warm and inviting, with a comfy bed and pillows. A tray with tea, coffee and biscuits was provided. Parking is available on the street and a permit was provided. We look forward to returning and can thoroughly recommend this b & b.”

“A Beautiful Guest House with superb hosts.
What a beautiful, cosy guest house! Annie and Alex are wonderful hosts and nothing too much trouble for them. The chilled water for the room when we arrived, as well as a very welcome cuppa, was just what we needed.
We are a family of 3 and had the beautifully decorated family room. It was spotlessly clean (as was the rest of the house) and very comfortable. The tray of teas, coffee and chocolate biscuits was a lovely touch. The en-suite bathroom was large and had a good shower and lovely big sink which my hubby particularly appreciated when shaving.
One of the true highlights was Alex’s cooked breakfast. A lovely choice of food and cooked to perfection. They even catered for our gluten-free daughter, so we had no worries about her getting ill.
The location at the North Bay side of Scarborough is ideal for access to the Open Air Theatre, Alpamare and Sea Life. We’ve never stayed in this part of Scarborough before, but now prefer it as a base as there’s really good access to the local amenities.
We highly recommend this lovely guest house and can’t wait to book a return visit.”

“Another lovely visit
We have just returned from a few days break in Scarborough . Once again, we went back to St Michaels, a superb guest house in the North Bay Scarborough.
Annie and Alex make everyone so welcome. Everything is beautifully clean and the breakfast is amazing using locally sourced food.
Having said that the real joy comes from the care you are given as guests. Nothing is too much trouble for either of them. We love spending time there and will definitely be going again.
